Louis Leichter — Founder

Louis Leichter practices administrative, health, criminal and employment law. In addition to advising clients on disciplinary actions and misconduct allegations, Mr. Leichter also counsels clients with regard to issues involving, contractual relations between physicians and groups, including non-compete and compensation structure as well as unpaid overtime wages and discrimination in the workplace.

Prior to starting a private practice Mr. Leichter prosecuted crimes as an Assistant County Attorney for Travis County, Texas. After gaining invaluable litigation, negotiation and trial skills Mr. Leichter opened a private practice which focused on the representation of individuals accused of white collar felonies and drug offenses. After representing a criminal client in a disciplinary matter, Mr. Leichter turned his attention to the representation of licensed professionals in disciplinary proceedings before their respective licensing boards and administrative agencies. From there Mr. Leichter has expanded his practice to include the representation of employees, including medical professionals, with areas of interest to include employment contracts and disputes as well as overtime wage and discrimination litigation.
